    Restored, Metal, Ready to Use!
    Pre-war 1939
    Up for auction this original Pre-war Western Electric  302 series telephone. All dates visible dates are 1939.  This phone is all metal and weighs in at 0ver 6 1/2 pounds.  It has been professionally powdercoated a gleaming black and fitted with a new modular 6ft line cord to plug right into the wall. Also, a new era correct brown cloth handset cord has been added.  This is a beautiful old phone.  It has a very nice early  4H dial that has been cleaned and adjusted to Western Electric Specs. It has that wonderful clickity clack of the dials of that era. It is not dated.  All numbers and letters are crisp and clear.. Beautiful early Seamless E1 handset with 1939 Transmitter element.
    It's been buffed and polished to a sheen. The leather feet are in very good smooth condition with no tears.
    There is evidence of wear under the powdercoating where the receiver rubbed for many years, but only shows in certain light. It doesn't take away from this great old phone, Use it everyday or add to your collection.
    This phone will work on any STANDARD landline. Certain newer modems or other VOIP phones systems will require a "Pulse to Tone converter" to dial out. These are readily available online, otherwise, it's an answer only telephone. Don't miss out on this collectible telephone.
