For sale is a vintage Phil Cavarretta Diamond Brand First Baseman Glove that has been signed on the glove and the original box. Philliabuck, as many called him, spent 20 of his 22 seasons with the Cubs, winning the MVP and Batting Title in 1945 and appearing in 4 All-Star games. Phil was the last living player to play against the "Great Bambino" before dying in 2010. The glove features a factory stamped signature from 1945 NL MVP and the model is DBM7. Phil signed and inscribed the mitt twice with heavy bleeding. The mitt comes with its original box with the Shapleigh's St. Louis Diamond Brand label and a more legible black marker autograph from Cavarretta. JSA holograms/Basic Certs U92369 & U92370.
