Pro-Ject Speed Box S with upgraded 3-foot DC power cable, original packaging

For sale is a very lightly used Pro-Ject Speed Box S electronic motor control and speed change. It was purchased in 2013 and used for only a handful of hours (less than 20) before I realized that a busy work travel schedule and family life would never afford me the opportunity to sit and enjoy music produced from a turntable. The Speed Box performed all its duties flawlessly and comes highly recommended. It just takes me forever to find the time to list items on eBay!
This component comes in its original packaging and with the original 18V power supply (not pictured). The original 16-inch DC power cable is also included, but it is of questionable quality. The plastic terminals literally disintegrated to the touch when I unplugged them to remove the Speed Box from my rack! So I got a more-than-suitable replacement: a 3-foot DC cable custom-made from Best-Tronics Mfg., the POWER5-III. (See it at https://btpa.com/POWER5-III.html.) It is an exact match for the barrel and pin (2.1mm x 5.5mm) of the original cable, plus this longer cable affords more placement options for people with rack enclosures like myself.
I paired the Speed Box S with the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable (US version, listed here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/234135721536). Please ensure your turntable is compatible before committing to a purchase. A list of compatible and incompatible Pro-Ject turntables is provided below.
