    Description

    Offered is this lovely porcelain china oval vegetable serving bowl with lid made by Pope Gosser in the early 1900s.
    The footed oval bowl is decorated with pink climbing roses with green foliage. Flowers appear inside the bowl as well as outside.
    Gold trim decorates the rims, handles, base and finial.
    The covered serving bowl measures 11.5 inches (29 cm) from handle to handle. It stands about 6 inches high (15 cm) to the top of the finial.
    Good used condition. No chips or cracks. Some wear on the outside finish near the rim. (See photos.) Gold trim in very good condition but does show slight wear.
    This piece comes from the estate of a lady who had a large mix-and-match collection of French Haviland china. Her preferred décor included pink flowers, often roses, with gold trim, which probably attracted her to this piece.
