Up on the auction block is a very nice mid 1940's Nokona CUB youth model leather baseball glove!
As the photos show, the glove is in game used but great condition. It has surface light wear through out, no ink, and no major damage (see all photos for condition). There is light game use surface wear but no major damage (see all photos for condition).
All of the leather is nice and soft and supple. All of the original leather tying and piping is present with just light surface wear. The wrist strap with metal button is in great shape and works fine. The leather interior of the glove has surface wear but that's about it. There is a Nokona cloth makers tag sewn onto the wrist strap (see close-up). There is also an Nokona
Indian chief
makers mark on the palm (see close-up) along with CUB and GENUINE COWHIDE. As mentioned, it is a smaller youth size glove measuring
7 1/2" tall X 9 1/2" wide.
Wood display stand is not included.
