The Nacimiento Copper Company owned mines near Cuba, New Mexico in Sandoval County. Company mines were in the Nacimiento Mountains east of the town of Cuba (Nacimiento Mining District, in what is today the Santa Fe National Forest), and included the Eureka and Eureka No. 2 mines, the Nacimiento, Copper Queen, Copper Crown, Copper Prince, and Gertrude mines, producing primarily copper with secondary silver.
