The Maricopa Mica Mining Company owned the Maricopa Mine, a gold mine located in Maricopa County, Arizona, within the Cave Creek Mining District (in the Verde Mountains at an elevation of about 2,400 feet). The mine produces primary gold, with secondary silver and copper. The Cave Creek District was formed in the 1890s, when the Phoenix and Maricopa mines were the major properties producing gold.
