Description
Please note up front that the grapes Lucy is holding dropped from her hand & have been re-applied via tape. I will be listing dolls from Mattel’s Barbie Loves Lucy collection that came to an end in 2011. Their collection celebrated the timeless television series I Love Lucy. This is the third collectible Lucy doll created by Mattel reproducing the beautiful redhead in a very popular episode. It is from 1999, and called Lucy’s Italian Movie, episode 150. In this show, Lucy Ricardo stomps grapes in an Italian vineyard. She is dressed in a white peasant blouse and purple skirt, with a vine-patterned scarf in her hair. She holds a bunch of grapes in her hand, though only by the help of clear tape. The grapes were originally held with a rubber band that evidently broke, and had fallen to the bottom of the box. The cardboard scene Lucy is attached to was partially removed from the box, only to re-attach her grapes, so she is still in mint condition. The box is in excellent condition, with very little shelf wear. A doll stand is included. Hopefully the picture will do her justice. She may be ideal for a collector to display. The box label recommends this for someone age 6 and older.~~ Please see my other auction items at this category, as well as those at other entirely different ones. Buyer to pay all shipping & handling costs, but shipping may be combined (for destinations in the U.S. and Canada only). International bidders will be responsible for separate shipping costs for each item purchased.
~~ My combined shipping policy is this: I weigh the entire package after you have finished bidding over a week's time (unless we agree ahead of time to a different time-frame). I estimate the shipping fee based on that weight and your zip code, using the USPS website. I add a handling fee for the first item. That fee is already included in the amount shown on the item description’s shipping calculator. It covers the costs for packaging, printing, and gasoline. Delivery confirmation is covered at no extra cost. I charge handling for each additional item. I ship using USPS Priority Mail, both locally and to Canada. Feel free to e-mail me for an estimate if you are considering bidding on multiple items, or if you have any questions. Please be sure to request a combined-shipping invoice if you win multiple items from me. Also, if you are a return customer, remind me and I may be able to reduce the handling fees. Thank you for looking.
