Description
Fully restored by a telephone hobbyist. Cloth cords. Bakelite handset. Porcelain dial plate. Chrome plated. Vintage ringing sound.Great condition. The model 302 was the first Western Electric telephone to include the ringer and network circuitry in the same desktop unit.
My phones were purchased in the middle 2000s, used successfully on occasions, then stored in a climate controlled storage unit until now, as I am selling off some of my collection.
I try to describe items to the best of my knowledge however, I CANNOT GUARANTEE total functionality, due to the amount of time that has passed; that I no longer support a landline home phone service to test; and I that have been advised that you will need to purchase a supplemental 'Pulse to Touch tone' converter
(at a minimal cost) in order to use the dialing feature.
Otherwise, you could use it just as it is to receive calls only.
Moreover, whether you are a phone pro buying to resell, or a new collector any issues should not be too terrible being in the condition that it is in.
