This beautiful Bang & Olufsen Beogram 2402 turntable is in fabulous condition, functionally and visually. It is fitted with an MMC 20EN cartridge, which is in fine shape. The MMC 20EN was furnished on B&O’s top of the line decks. To my ears, the 20EN is clearly superior to the MMC 20E, 20S, and 10E cartridges. From Beoworld.com,
The extreme lightness of the arm, together with the highly polished nude elliptical diamond carried by the MMC 20EN pickup, resulted in an unusually low Effective Tip Mass (ETM). This means that your records would suffer very little wear, even after continual playing. Neither would they be damaged if the stylus was accidentally skidded across the surface.
That's right. This deck will not scratch your precious vinyl.
This turntable is in as nice a condition as you can hope to find. I have been through the mechanicals, the electronics, and the cosmetics. The rosewood trim is great. The dust cover and cover hinges are great. The fully automatic deck and cartridge perform superbly on my Klipsch Cornwall speakers. I have done my best to provide good photos.

The MMC 20EN combined cartridge/stylus from Bang & Olufsen was fitted with a naked elliptical diamond, mounted on a tiny tapered cantilever. It was designed for top of the range record decks.
IMO, the 20EN cartridge sound is superior even to the vaunted 20CL – more full bodied, without sacrificing delicate highs. Per Beocentral.com, it was well respected for its sound quality and less sensitive to environmental changes than the MMC 20CL.
This turntable has twin RCA plugs (not DIN) and a ground, for connection to your receiver’s phono inputs.
