This 1908 Sterling Electric Company intercom/telephone is in beautiful/mint condition and has the original label inside the case.You will not find another one in the market place especially in this condition!  The telephone measures 11" length x 7 1/2" (10" with receiver) width x 5 1/2 (10 1/2 with transmitter) depth.
The Sterling Electric Company was incorporated in September, 1899 and was sold on foreclosure August, 1913 in Lafayette, Indiana. I will include with your purchase all the research and newspapers articles on the company.
People commonly confuse The Sterling Electric Company (Lafayette, Indiana) with Sterling Electric and Telephone (Britain).  The two companies never intersected and were separate entities.
