Item #1 is a former Kellogg ringer box without mounting holes. The box currently has no magneto installed. Overall, the wood is in good condition, and the finish is fair.
Note these issues:
· box right panel: 1 large hole for crank
· box bottom: 2 holes for magneto mount plus 1 large hole
· inside surface of door: 4 divots, 1 in each corner of the inside surface of the door
· inside surface of door: 2 small holes in the upper half of the inside surface of door
Exterior: The outside of the box is unmarked.
Door closure: The door is secured with a "screw closure" mechanism. Unfortunately, the screw portion is missing.
Interior: There is no magneto inside the box. The information, "F2421" is stamped into the thin edge of the top panel of the box. On the inside surface of the door is a paper wiring diagram which is in fair condition. The following information is printed on the diagram: "KS&S Co," "7459," "Wiring of Bridging Desk Set," and "1906, 1912."

Item #2 Antique Telephone part unmarked ringer box. This item is an unmarked ringer box with no magneto inside. We hooked the ringer up to the test set magneto and were able to ring the bells; the ringer tests OK. The information, “216A" is stamped in ink on the tag on the inside surface of the door. The backboard has no mounting holes. Overall, the wood is in good condition, and the finish is fair.
Note these issues:
· box: no magneto
· box side: 1 hole intended for the crank
· box bottom: 4 holes intended for the magneto mount
· door: 2 holes between the bells
· door: the closure screw is missing
· inside surface of the door: 4 divots, 1 in each corner

Door closure: The door is secured with a "screw closure" mechanism. NOTE that the closure screw is missing from the door.
Interior: Inside the box there is no magneto. On the inside surface of the door is a printed paper tag which is in good condition. The following information is printed on the paper tag: "WP 56471," "Issue #2," "Ringer Frequencies," and "To desk set local battery." The following information is stamped onto the paper tag in ink: "216A," and "XTB." The ringer is unmarked and bears the patent date 1902. We hooked the ringer up to the test set magneto and were able to ring the bells; the ringer tests OK.
