Antique Baseball Andirons

Antique Baseball Andirons.
As you can see in the pictures, one of them had a repair (looks terrible). However, the head is on solid and doesn’t budge. You can see the crack in the back through the glue but have to look very hard to see it from the front. It looks like a base white coat was first applied and then color on top. There are traces of green and Red on the uniforms. You can see brown and black on the shoes. There are traces of brown on the faces and black on the hair.
Unfortunately I do not have the stakes that go through the slots in the back.
