1978 BMW R-Series

BMW R-Series. Selling my 1978 BMW R100S in working condition the bike had been sitting for 25 years i have service records up to that point , the bike runs great the front fairing rattles a bit, clean Texas title not in my name, the bike has around 50k miles, the tires and inner tubing are brand new, rebuild the rear brake and have a rebuild kit for the front brake, new spark plugs, new air filter, brand new battery, carbs are rebuilt the bike will come with all the oils to do a oil change also oil filter, bags are included, bike runs and shifts good
Cons: it leaks oil from the oil pan(i have a oil pan seal) it doesnt leak oil if i put it in the center stand, the bike needs a ignition switch, and last thing the battery is not charging im not sure why, but it starts if i jump start it

Somebody has brought to my attention that bmw did a recall of front wheels on some r bikes because they were prone to cracking and cause catastrophic failure and apparently I have that front rim, I inspected the rim and it doesn’t look bad, there’s no visible cracks I can see, just thought I put this here as useful information
